The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

श्रीराम उवाच ।
उपदेश्योपदेशादावनया शब्दसंपदा ।
किमन्यद्वद मे ब्रह्मन्सर्वस्मिञ्छान्ततां गते ॥ ३८ ॥

śrīrāma uvāca |
upadeśyopadeśādāvanayā śabdasaṃpadā |
kimanyadvada me brahmansarvasmiñchāntatāṃ gate || 38 ||

Rama rejoined:—Please to tell me sir, in your preaching of these lectures to your audience, what other mode of practice there may be, in our attainment of a quietude like that of the living liberated sages.
