The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.171.33

साङ्गभूतो यथैकोऽणुर्भाति जीवार्कतेजसि ।
न भान्ति भान्ति वा तत्र तथा सूर्यादयोऽणवः ॥ ३३ ॥

sāṅgabhūto yathaiko'ṇurbhāti jīvārkatejasi |
na bhānti bhānti vā tatra tathā sūryādayo'ṇavaḥ || 33 ||

As a ray of sunbeams, a particle of sand or sunstone, shine brightly in sunshine; but the sun and moon also do not shine even as conspicuously as those particles, before the great glory of their Maker.
