The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

चिच्छायेयं प्रकचति जगदित्यभिशब्दिता ।
नन्वमूर्तैव मूर्तेव द्रव्यच्छायेव वै तता ॥ १० ॥

cicchāyeyaṃ prakacati jagadityabhiśabditā |
nanvamūrtaiva mūrteva dravyacchāyeva vai tatā || 10 ||

It is spreading shadow of the divine Intellect, which pass under the name of the world; and this formless in itself, appears as having a form, like the shadow of anything else.
