The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

अविद्योपशमस्त्वेष जातोऽपि भवतामिह ।
अभ्यासेन विना साधो न सिद्धिमुपगच्छति ॥ १९ ॥

avidyopaśamastveṣa jāto'pi bhavatāmiha |
abhyāsena vinā sādho na siddhimupagacchati || 19 ||

Inquiry into spiritual knowledge, will dispel thy ignorance; but thou wilt never be successful in it, without thy constant application to it.
