The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

न्रोद्वेगं संपरित्यज्य गृहीत्वानुदिनं क्षणम् ।
लोकद्वयहितं पथ्यमिदं शास्त्रं विचार्यताम् ॥ २० ॥

nrodvegaṃ saṃparityajya gṛhītvānudinaṃ kṣaṇam |
lokadvayahitaṃ pathyamidaṃ śāstraṃ vicāryatām || 20 ||

Leaving aside all anxieties and their causes, and of every jot and moment of time in the observance of one's sacred vows day by day, and the study of this sacred sastra with due attention, leads him to his welfare in both worlds.
