The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

यथाम्बुधिः स्वयं याति तोयाद्यावर्तकादिकम् ।
स्थितो दधत्तथैवेदं चिदाकाशोऽङ्गमात्मनि ॥ २० ॥

yathāmbudhiḥ svayaṃ yāti toyādyāvartakādikam |
sthito dadhattathaivedaṃ cidākāśo'ṅgamātmani || 20 ||

As the waters of the ocean, roll of themselves in the forms of waves and eddies; so doth the Intellect exhibit the pageant of the universe, of itself and in itself from all eternity.
