The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

ब्रह्मेन्द्रविष्णुहरवह्निरवीन्दुपूर्वा देवासुराः परिविवृत्तिभिरापतन्तः ।
अन्येऽन्य एव विविधा उपयान्ति यान्ति वातावधूतमशकाशनिविभ्रमेण ॥ ८४ ॥

brahmendraviṣṇuharavahniravīndupūrvā devāsurāḥ parivivṛttibhirāpatantaḥ |
anye'nya eva vividhā upayānti yānti vātāvadhūtamaśakāśanivibhrameṇa || 84 ||

The gods Brahma, Vishnu and Siva, together with the regents of sun and moon and fire, and all other gods and demigods, that shine in their respective offices;are all made to fly before like a flight of gnats, and with the velocity of lightning.
