The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

द्वैतमैक्यं च यत्रास्ति न मनागपि तत्र ते ।
सर्गब्रह्मादिशब्दार्थाः कथं कस्येव भान्तु के ॥ २१ ॥

dvaitamaikyaṃ ca yatrāsti na manāgapi tatra te |
sargabrahmādiśabdārthāḥ kathaṃ kasyeva bhāntu ke || 21 ||

There exists no difference of them, when their duality disappears into unity; and when we can not have any idea of their difference, unless we support the gross dualistic theory.
