The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.82.12

दृढभाववशादन्तरस्थीन्याप्नोति सा ततः ।
मातृगर्भनिषण्णेषु सुसूक्ष्मेवाङ्कुरस्थितिः ॥ १२ ॥

dṛḍhabhāvavaśādantarasthīnyāpnoti sā tataḥ |
mātṛgarbhaniṣaṇṇeṣu susūkṣmevāṅkurasthitiḥ || 12 ||

It supplies the embryonic seed placed in the foetus of the mother, with the power of its evolution into the fleshy and bony parts of its future body; as the tender sprout of the vegetative seed, waxes in time to a hard woody tree.
