The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

यथाभिमतमाकारं प्रमाणं वेत्ति राघव ।
जीवशक्तिरवाप्नोति सुमेर्वादि तृणादि च ॥ १३ ॥

yathābhimatamākāraṃ pramāṇaṃ vetti rāghava |
jīvaśaktiravāpnoti sumervādi tṛṇādi ca || 13 ||

Know Rama, this certain truth which is acknowledged by the wise, that the living principles acquire its desired state and stature, be it that of a mountain or bit of straw.
