The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.81.19

क्षीणत्वाद्वा प्रपूर्णत्वान्नाडीनां रन्धसंततौ ।
प्राणे विधुरतां याते काये तु विकलीकृते ॥ १९ ॥

kṣīṇatvādvā prapūrṇatvānnāḍīnāṃ randhasaṃtatau |
prāṇe vidhuratāṃ yāte kāye tu vikalīkṛte || 19 ||

The weakness and fulness of the intestines caused by sparing food on the one hand, and its excess on the other, cause the derangement of the humours and the disorder of the constitution.
