The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 5.67.28

अन्तःसङ्गेन रहिता यान्ति निर्दुःखतां पराम् ।
श्लिष्टान्यपि तथैवात्मदेहेन्द्रियमनांस्यलम् ॥ २८ ॥

antaḥsaṅgena rahitā yānti nirduḥkhatāṃ parām |
śliṣṭānyapi tathaivātmadehendriyamanāṃsyalam || 28 ||

The soul freed from its innate knowledge of the objective, is wholly absolved from misery; while the knowledge of its connection with the body, senses and the mind, is the mainspring of all it woes.
