The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

अवस्त्विदमिति स्फारे रूढे मनसि निश्चये ।
हेमन्त इव मञ्जर्यः क्षीयन्ते भोगवासनाः ॥ ४७ ॥

avastvidamiti sphāre rūḍhe manasi niścaye |
hemanta iva mañjaryaḥ kṣīyante bhogavāsanāḥ || 47 ||

As the mind becomes impressed with certainty, of the unsubstantiality of external objects; its desire of worldly enjoyments fade away, like the fading verdure of autumn.
