The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

चित्त्वाद्दृष्टात्मना नूनं संत्यक्तमननौजसा ।
मनसा वीतरागेण स्वयं स्वस्थेन भूयते ॥ ४८ ॥

cittvāddṛṣṭātmanā nūnaṃ saṃtyaktamananaujasā |
manasā vītarāgeṇa svayaṃ svasthena bhūyate || 48 ||

When the mind comes to see the pure soul by means of its intellectual light, it gets itself ridden of its temporal exertions; and being thereby freed from its passions and affections, it rests with its calm composure in itself.
