The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

श्रीभगवानुवाच ।
यावन्मेरुर्धरा यावद्यावच्चन्द्रार्कमण्डले ।
अखण्डितगुणश्लाघी तावद्राजा भवानघ ॥ ३१ ॥

śrībhagavānuvāca |
yāvanmerurdharā yāvadyāvaccandrārkamaṇḍale |
akhaṇḍitaguṇaślāghī tāvadrājā bhavānagha || 31 ||

The lord said:—Do thou reign here as sole monarch, as long as the mount Meru stands on the earth, and the sun and moon shine in the sky; and be fraught with all praiseworthy virtues of thine own.
