The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

तथेदममलं शान्तं त्रिजगत्संविदम्बरम् ।
इदं तत्त्वमतत्त्वादि कुतोऽत्र स्यात्कथं च वा ॥ २० ॥

tathedamamalaṃ śāntaṃ trijagatsaṃvidambaram |
idaṃ tattvamatattvādi kuto'tra syātkathaṃ ca vā || 20 ||

Now that our passive consciousness of the three worlds, being the sober truth with the wise, there can be no room for the unrealities of matter and maya-illusion, to enter into our belief.
