क्रियास्पन्दो जगत्यस्मिन्कर्मेति कथितो बुधैः ।
पूर्वं तस्य मनो देहं कर्मातश्चित्तमेव हि ॥ ३२ ॥

kriyāspando jagatyasminkarmeti kathito budhaiḥ |
pūrvaṃ tasya mano dehaṃ karmātaścittameva hi || 32 ||

It is the exertion of bodily activity, which we call an action here; but it is well known to the wise to be preceded by a mental action, which is called its thought in the mind.
