The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

ब्रह्मोवाच ।
सर्वं हि मन एवेदमित्थं स्फुरति भूतिमत् ।
जलं जलाशयस्फारैर्विचित्रैश्चक्रकैरिव ॥ ४ ॥

brahmovāca |
sarvaṃ hi mana evedamitthaṃ sphurati bhūtimat |
jalaṃ jalāśayasphārairvicitraiścakrakairiva || 4 ||

Brahma said:—All this visible world is the manifestation of the divine mind, like the circling whirl-pools and rippling curls of water on the surface of the sea.
