The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.72.29

कस्येदं तपसाक्रान्तं जगदित्यथ वासवः ।
नारदं परिपप्रच्छ स तस्याकथयच्च तत् ॥ २९ ॥

kasyedaṃ tapasākrāntaṃ jagadityatha vāsavaḥ |
nāradaṃ paripapraccha sa tasyākathayacca tat || 29 ||

This made Indra the god of heaven, to ask Narada respecting the cause of this intense devotion; saying "Who is it that engrosses to her the fruition of worlds, by her austere devotion"? To whom Narada thus replied:
