The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.39.7

आसन्नचन्द्रसुभगा लोकाः कुसुमपङ्क्तयः ।
उल्लसद्धृदया जाता वीरपक्षेष्विव श्रियः ॥ ७ ॥

āsannacandrasubhagā lokāḥ kusumapaṅktayaḥ |
ullasaddhṛdayā jātā vīrapakṣeṣviva śriyaḥ || 7 ||

Then the fair moonbeams shone above, and the white lotuses were blown below; the hearts of men were gladdened, and the victors felt joyous in themselves.
