The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

एकस्मिन्नेव संशान्ते दिक्कालाद्यविभागिनि ।
विद्यमाने परे तत्त्वे कलनावसरः कुतः ॥ ५४ ॥

ekasminneva saṃśānte dikkālādyavibhāgini |
vidyamāne pare tattve kalanāvasaraḥ kutaḥ || 54 ||

And as your body, which is composed both of its spiritual and mental parts, has become corporeal by its habitual tendency to corporeality.
