The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.19.28

तत्रास्य विप्रस्य गृहाणि सन्ति भूस्थावरादीनि धनानि सन्ति ।
अद्याष्टमं वासरमाप्तमृत्योर्जीवो गिरिग्रामककन्दरस्थः ॥ २८ ॥

tatrāsya viprasya gṛhāṇi santi bhūsthāvarādīni dhanāni santi |
adyāṣṭamaṃ vāsaramāptamṛtyorjīvo girigrāmakakandarasthaḥ || 28 ||

The houses, lands and all the immovable properties and movable riches of this Brahman, are still existent in that rocky village, and it is only eight days past, that the souls of this loving pair, are reunited in the hollow vault of their house.
