The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.19.27

नदीनिखातमिव तं भर्तारमनुसृत्य सा ।
आजगाम विशोकत्वं सा वासन्तीव मञ्जरी ॥ २७ ॥

nadīnikhātamiva taṃ bhartāramanusṛtya sā |
ājagāma viśokatvaṃ sā vāsantīva mañjarī || 27 ||

She advanced to her lord, as rapidly as a river runs to meet the sea below its level; and became as cheerful to join him, as a cluster of flowers to inhale the vernal air.
