तपो निःश्रेयसं जन्तोस्तस्य मूलं दमः शमः ।
तेन सर्वानवाप्नोति यान्कामान्मनसेच्छति ॥ ५३ ॥

tapo niḥśreyasaṃ jantostasya mūlaṃ damaḥ śamaḥ |
tena sarvānavāpnoti yānkāmānmanasecchati || 53 ||
