ब्रह्मचारी गृहस्थश्च वानप्रस्थोऽथ भिक्षुकः ।
दण्डस्यैव भयादेते मनुष्या वर्त्मनि स्थिताः ॥ १२ ॥

daṇḍasyaiva bhayādete manuṣyā vartmani sthitāḥ || 12 ||
