The Buddha Carita (Saddharma-pundarika) by Asvaghosa a famous Sanskrit text revolving around the live and exploits of the Buddha. The Buddha Carita (Buddhacarita) is written in the style of a Kavya (or Mahakavya, epic poetry) and extant original Sanskrit text consists of roughly 1,000 metrical verses.

Verse 13.37

कश्चित्ततो रौद्रविवृत्तदृष्टिस्तस्मै गदामुद्यमयाञ्चकार ।
तस्तम्भ बाहुः सगदस्ततो ऽस्य पुरन्दरस्येव पुरा सवज्रः ॥ ३७ ॥

kaścittato raudravivṛttadṛṣṭistasmai gadāmudyamayāñcakāra |
tastambha bāhuḥ sagadastato 'sya purandarasyeva purā savajraḥ || 37 ||

Then one of them, with his eyes rolling wildly, lifted up a club against him; but his arm with the club was instantly paralysed, as was Indra's of old with its thunderbolt.
