This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 65.8

यथा उद्धरसे पादं दक्षिणं पुरुषोत्तम ।
दिशाम् अभिविलोकेन्तो अद्य बुद्धो भविष्यसि ॥ ८ ॥

yathā uddharase pādaṃ dakṣiṇaṃ puruṣottama |
diśām abhivilokento adya buddho bhaviṣyasi || 8 ||

“From the way thou liftest up thy right foot, as thou scannest the regions around, O Supreme of Men, to-day thou wilt become Buddha. (8)
