This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 64.359

शीले आभोगं कृत्वान स्वर्गो भोति न दुल्लभो ।
प्रियो मनापः सर्वेषां यत्र यत्रोपपद्यति ॥ ३५९ ॥

śīle ābhogaṃ kṛtvāna svargo bhoti na dullabho |
priyo manāpaḥ sarveṣāṃ yatra yatropapadyati || 359 ||

When he has set his mind on morality, heaven is not hard for him to win. He is dear and pleasant to all wherever he goes. (359)
