This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 37.69

तं सो वताराद् विनिवर्तयेद् रथं जाम्बूनदं सन्तपनीयसन्निभं ।
प्रज्वाल्यमानं रविकरसंनिभं अलंकृतं सुवर्णबिम्बविचित्रं ॥ ६९ ॥

taṃ so vatārād vinivartayed rathaṃ jāmbūnadaṃ santapanīyasannibhaṃ |
prajvālyamānaṃ ravikarasaṃnibhaṃ alaṃkṛtaṃ suvarṇabimbavicitraṃ || 69 ||

And Matali took out his chariot from its place. It was a golden chariot, of refined gold, flashing like the sun, and adorned with divers golden images. (69)
