This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 17.80

तत् साधु कण्ठकम् उपानय नायकस्य गोक्षीरहेमवपुषं सहजं तुरंगं ।
न ह्य् अस्ति सो भुवि दिवि नरलम्बकस्य यो विघ्नं कुर्या उपनेहि तुरंगश्रेष्ठं ॥ ८० ॥

tat sādhu kaṇṭhakam upānaya nāyakasya gokṣīrahemavapuṣaṃ sahajaṃ turaṃgaṃ |
na hy asti so bhuvi divi naralambakasya yo vighnaṃ kuryā upanehi turaṃgaśreṣṭhaṃ || 80 ||

“Therefore, cheerfully bring up Kanthaka, the Leader’s steed, caparisoned in silver and gold, which was born the same moment as its master. For there is not in heaven or earth anyone who could put an obstacle in the way of him who is the boon of men. Lead up the noble steed.” (80)
