The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.190.51

श्रीवसिष्ठ उवाच ।
अकारणस्य कार्यस्य बाह्यस्यार्थस्य सत्यता ।
येयं सा भ्रान्तिमात्रात्मरूपिणी नेतराङ्गिका ॥ ५१ ॥

śrīvasiṣṭha uvāca |
akāraṇasya kāryasya bāhyasyārthasya satyatā |
yeyaṃ sā bhrāntimātrātmarūpiṇī netarāṅgikā || 51 ||

Vasishtha replied:—All outward objects having no cause of their creation, nor any source of their production, are as incredible as the offspring of a barren woman; and the appearance of their reality which is presented to our sight, is as false as that of silver in a conch-shell or in the glittering sands, and not otherwise.
