The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

तस्मादावर्तवृत्त्येदं काकतालीयवज्जगत् ।
चिति यद्भाति तत्रैषा पश्चात्स्वप्नादिकल्पना ॥ २३ ॥

tasmādāvartavṛttyedaṃ kākatālīyavajjagat |
citi yadbhāti tatraiṣā paścātsvapnādikalpanā || 23 ||

Therefore these revolving worlds; are as the rotatory whirlpools (in the wide ocean of the infinite mind); they are the fortuitous appearances of chance, and whatever occurs in the mind, passes afterwards for its dreams.
