The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

किमेतत्स्यादुतान्यत्स्यान्निर्वाणमिति संशयात् ।
नाध्यगच्छदसौ शान्तिं मूर्खो यौवनवानिव ॥ ४ ॥

kimetatsyādutānyatsyānnirvāṇamiti saṃśayāt |
nādhyagacchadasau śāntiṃ mūrkho yauvanavāniva || 4 ||

He was drowned in doubt, to think whether this was the state of his nirvana or delirium;wherein he could not find his rest, but was tossed headlong like a headstrong youth in his foolhardiness.
