The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.145.40

वात्पित्तश्लेष्मयुक्तो जीव आपूर्यते यदा ।
भागैर्वातवशं प्राप्तैरार्तोऽसौ विन्दते तदा ॥ ४० ॥

vātpittaśleṣmayukto jīva āpūryate yadā |
bhāgairvātavaśaṃ prāptairārto'sau vindate tadā || 40 ||

When the conduits of the body are filled, with a combination of all the three humours of phlegm, bile and flatulence; then the soul is led by the windy humour to see several dreams of the following nature.
