The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

जलकल्लोलमातङ्गतुङ्गिताङ्गतया तया ।
दधाना निजराज्येभपृष्ठरोहस्थितिश्रियम् ॥ १२ ॥

jalakallolamātaṅgatuṅgitāṅgatayā tayā |
dadhānā nijarājyebhapṛṣṭharohasthitiśriyam || 12 ||

The huge surges which lifted them to great heights, represented the enormous elephants, on which they used to mount, and ride about in their native land.
