The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

यास्त्वर्धपक्वास्ता एता नरनागादिजातयः ।
यास्त्वाश्याना रजोनष्टास्ताः कृमिस्थावरादयः ॥ ७१ ॥

yāstvardhapakvāstā etā naranāgādijātayaḥ |
yāstvāśyānā rajonaṣṭāstāḥ kṛmisthāvarādayaḥ || 71 ||

Those that were half mature, became as human beings and Naga races; and such as were put forth themselves in the forms of insects, worms and vegetables.
