The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

तज्जीवास्तैर्विसदृशा भवन्त्यन्यशरीरिणः ।
सर्वैरेभिः समाः केचित्कालेनैव विलक्षणाः ।
कालेन सदृशाः केचिदनेन च विलक्षणाः ॥ ५८ ॥

tajjīvāstairvisadṛśā bhavantyanyaśarīriṇaḥ |
sarvairebhiḥ samāḥ kecitkālenaiva vilakṣaṇāḥ |
kālena sadṛśāḥ kecidanena ca vilakṣaṇāḥ || 58 ||

But all beings differ in these respects, according to the different bodies in which they are born; and though some are equal to others, in many of these respects, yet they come to vary in them in course of time.
