Yoga Vasistha [sanskrit]

223,437 words | ISBN-10: 8171101519

The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.38.30

सम्यक्परीक्षितं यावन्न भ्रान्तिर्न परीक्षकाः ।
न नाम जन्ममरणे केवलं शान्तमव्ययम् ॥ ३० ॥

samyakparīkṣitaṃ yāvanna bhrāntirna parīkṣakāḥ |
na nāma janmamaraṇe kevalaṃ śāntamavyayam || 30 ||

Upon due examination, this error vanishes from view with its cause also; and then it appears that there is nothing as life or death, beside the existence of the imperishable one.
