The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

पावनीयं तव मती राजते घनरूपिणी ।
विवेकेनानलेनेव कनकद्रवसंततिः ॥ ३ ॥

pāvanīyaṃ tava matī rājate ghanarūpiṇī |
vivekenānaleneva kanakadravasaṃtatiḥ || 3 ||

Thy holy intentions shine as bright as the blazing clouds in the midday light; and as pure liquid gold melted down by the fire of right reasoning.
