The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

मुहूर्तं प्रति कालोग्रमर्कटध्वंसिताकृतेः ।
निद्राहेमन्तजठरलीनस्वप्नदलोद्गतेः ॥ १४ ॥

muhūrtaṃ prati kālogramarkaṭadhvaṃsitākṛteḥ |
nidrāhemantajaṭharalīnasvapnadalodgateḥ || 14 ||

Destructive death lurks about this tree of the body every moment, as the light-legged monkey lights upon trees to break them down; it is engulphed in the womb of sleep, as the tree is overwhelmed under the mists of winter, and the flitting dreams are as the falling leaves of trees.
