The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

शक्र उवाच ।
साधो विदितवेद्यानां परिपूर्णधियां समम् ।
सज्जनाचरितं युक्तं मन्ये भोगोपसेवनम् ॥ २९ ॥

śakra uvāca |
sādho viditavedyānāṃ paripūrṇadhiyāṃ samam |
sajjanācaritaṃ yuktaṃ manye bhogopasevanam || 29 ||

Indra answered said:—I know, O holy saint! that those that have known the knowable, and are perfect in their understandings, are indifferent to their sensual gratification; it is however not the part of the wise to reject an enjoyment, which offers itself unto him by the gracious allotment of his destiny.
