The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

अनुवृत्तिपरावास्तां लोकवृत्तान्ततद्विदौ ।
कलाकलापसंपन्नौ लसद्रसरसायनौ ।
शीतलस्निग्धमुग्धाङ्गौ शशाङ्कौ द्वाविवोदितौ ॥ ५१ ॥

anuvṛttiparāvāstāṃ lokavṛttāntatadvidau |
kalākalāpasaṃpannau lasadrasarasāyanau |
śītalasnigdhamugdhāṅgau śaśāṅkau dvāvivoditau || 51 ||

They followed the course of the laws and customs, and attended to the affairs of the people; they delighted in the arts and sciences, and enjoyed their sweet pleasures also. They appeared as the two moons, shining with their beams.
