The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.37.21

यैषा परपराभासा सैषा नियतिरुच्यते ।
क्रियाथ कृतिरिच्छा वा कालेत्यादिकृताभिधा ॥ २१ ॥

yaiṣā paraparābhāsā saiṣā niyatirucyate |
kriyātha kṛtiricchā vā kāletyādikṛtābhidhā || 21 ||

That power which appears as the one or another, is called the divine powers of destiny; and is distinguished by the several appellations of action, energy or will of God, or the dispensation of his Time. (Time is said to be the producer, sustainer and leveller of all things.
