The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

शून्यं देहगृहं प्राप्य चित्तयक्षेण तत्कृतम् ।
भीता येन महान्तोऽपि समाधिनियताः स्थिताः ॥ ४२ ॥

śūnyaṃ dehagṛhaṃ prāpya cittayakṣeṇa tatkṛtam |
bhītā yena mahānto'pi samādhiniyatāḥ sthitāḥ || 42 ||

The demoniac mind having made its way, into the hollow heart of the human body;plays its fantastic parts in so odd a manner, that wise men shut their eyes against the sight, and sit in their silent contemplation of the secluded soul.
