The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 5.74.25

परां शीतलतामेति वृष्टिधौत इवाचलः ।
निर्वृतिं परमां धत्ते प्राप्तराज्य इवाधमः ॥ २५ ॥

parāṃ śītalatāmeti vṛṣṭidhauta ivācalaḥ |
nirvṛtiṃ paramāṃ dhatte prāptarājya ivādhamaḥ || 25 ||

The contented mind gets a coolness like that of a heated rock, after it is washed by a shower of rain; and it finds a satisfaction equal to that of a pauper, by his getting the riches of a king and his whole kingdom.
