The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

शोभते परया लक्ष्म्या शरदीव नभस्तलम् ।
आत्मन्येव न मात्युच्चैः कल्पस्यान्त इवार्णवः ॥ २६ ॥

śobhate parayā lakṣmyā śaradīva nabhastalam |
ātmanyeva na mātyuccaiḥ kalpasyānta ivārṇavaḥ || 26 ||

The countenance of the contented man, shines as clear as the face of the autumnal sky; and his soul overflows with delight, like the deluvial waters of the deep.
