The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

अस्मादियमुदेत्युच्चैः संसाररचनाचला ।
विचित्रतरुगुल्माढ्या शैलादिव वनावली ॥ ३७ ॥

asmādiyamudetyuccaiḥ saṃsāraracanācalā |
vicitratarugulmāḍhyā śailādiva vanāvalī || 37 ||

It is this that gives rise to the whole creation both in its ideal and real and mobile or quiescent forms; as a huge rock gives growth to a large forest with its various kinds of big trees and dwarf shrubberies.
