The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

अत उत्तरमेतेन गर्भता दनुजन्मना ।
न कर्तव्या प्रदग्धेन बीजेनेवाङ्कुरक्रिया ॥ ३ ॥

ata uttarametena garbhatā danujanmanā |
na kartavyā pradagdhena bījenevāṅkurakriyā || 3 ||

He shall not have to be born again in the womb of a woman, nor to be reproduced in any form on earth; but must remain aloof from regeneration, like a fried pea which does not germinate any more.
