The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

त्रिगर्तेषु शुको भूत्वा भेको भूत्वा सरित्तटे ।
वनेषु लावको भूत्वा जातोऽहमिह कानने ॥ २५ ॥

trigarteṣu śuko bhūtvā bheko bhūtvā sarittaṭe |
vaneṣu lāvako bhūtvā jāto'hamiha kānane || 25 ||

I also was a parrot in the land of Trigarta, and a frog at the beach of a river; I became a small bird in a forest, and was then born in these woods.
