The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 5.17.31

द्वैतं न संभवति चित्तमयं महात्मन्नात्मन्यथैक्यमपि न द्वितयोदितात्म ।
अद्वैतमैक्यरहितं सततोदितं सत्सर्वं न किंचिदपि चाहुरतः स्वरूपम् ॥ ३१ ॥

dvaitaṃ na saṃbhavati cittamayaṃ mahātmannātmanyathaikyamapi na dvitayoditātma |
advaitamaikyarahitaṃ satatoditaṃ satsarvaṃ na kiṃcidapi cāhurataḥ svarūpam || 31 ||

O Rama of great soul! There cannot be a duality, as it is thought in the mind; nor O Rama of enlightened soul; can there be any unity or duality of the soul. The true essence is ever existent without its unity or duality, and is styled the all and nothing particular, and as itself—Svarupa or suiform.
